The following is a very short discography of Scottish traditional music for learners. It includes a very small handful of my favourite albums, and there are hundreds upon thousands more recordings out there that there just wasn't space to include. I've tried, where I could, to make sure that I included albums available on streaming services like Spotify for ease of access: this is for those new to the music, not for the specialists and collectors!

If you want to use this discography to help you get a feel for the music, I'd suggest picking an album each day or each week and working your way through the list - but you can also dip into the list at any point and you'll likely find something marvellous.
